Educational qualification:
  1. Research Assistant: The candidates applying for this post must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences/ Law/ Statistics.

  3. Upper Division Clerk: The candidates applying for this post should be an officer under the Central Government, holding analogous posts on regular basis.
  4. Lower Division Clerk: The candidates applying for this post must have a matriculation certificate or equivalent.

Pay scale:
  • Research assistant: Rs 5,000- Rs 8,000 per month
  • Assistant: Rs 5,000- Rs 8,000 per month
  • Upper Division Clerk: Rs 4,000- Rs 6,000 per month
  • Lower Division Cerk: Rs 3,050- Rs 4,590 per month

  1. Selection procedure: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of interview/ exam conducted by the organisation.

Eligibility

  • Private Secretary - Candidates should be officers of the central government holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with three-year service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs 5500-9000 or equivalent or six-year combined service.
  • Personal Assistant - Candidates should be officers of the central government holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with seven-year service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs 4000-6000.
  • Assistant - Candidates should be officers of the central government holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department with eight years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pre-revised scale of pay of Rs 4000 -100-6000.
  • Upper Division Clerk - Candidates should be officers of the central government holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or with five-year service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Pay Band - (Rs 5200-20200), Grade Pay of Rs 2000 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

The Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research [IGCAR], Kalpakkam  has invited applications for recruitment from eligible and interested candidates for Technical, Administrative, Auxiliary & Stipendiary Trainees Category - II posts. Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research [IGCAR], the second largest establishment of the Department of Atomic Energy next to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, was set up at Kalpakkam, 80 km south of Chennai [MADRAS], in 1971 with the main objective of conducting broad based multidisciplinary programme of scientific research and advanced engineering, directed towards the development of sodium cooled Fast Breeder Reactor [FBR] technology, in India.
