Eligibility criteria
- Sub Divisional Officer Grade-I: Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 3-year experience in the respective fields.
- Sub Divisional Officer Grade-III: Matriculation or equivalent or Diploma or certificate of a registered/recognised institute in surveying/Draftsmanship (Civil) of not less than two years.
Sub Divisional Officer Grade-I: Rs 9300-34800+ Grade pay 4200
Sub Divisional Officer Grade-III: Rs 5200-20200+ Grade pay 2400
Age Limit:
- Sub Divisional Officer Grade-I: Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years.
- Sub Divisional Officer Grade-III: Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years.
Selection procedure
- There will be a written test/skill test/interview total of 150 marks. The test paper will be bilingual.
- The written test will include following:
- Technical Knowledge: 95 marks
- General Knowledge/General aptitude: 15 marks
- General English: 15 marks
- Shortlisted candidates will be given skill test in handling ETS and other practical aspects of Land Survey of 10 marks followed by interview of 15 marks. The written test, skill test and interview will be held at Pune.

- Candidates are required to send the application in a prescribed format by ordinary post only. A self-addressed post card with Rs 5 postage stamp affixed should be sent by November 30, 2014. Candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunanchal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, SikkiM, Laddakh etc can send the application by December 15, 2014.
