Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried men and women for Short Service Commissioned Officer (SSC) as Pilot/Observer at the Indian Naval Academy, Kerala. Eligible and interested candidates should apply keeping in mind the following guidelines:

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualifications:
- Candidates should have obtained a B.Tech/BE degree in any discipline with Physics and Maths as the main subjects in Class 12
- For those applying to Pilot entry, candidates should have scored minimum 60 percent and for Observer's entry, a minimum of 55 percent
- CPL candidates must have valid and current CPL issued by DCGA
- Candidates who have not cleared the Pilot Entry Battery Test are eligible to apply for the Observer's entry scheme only.
Age limit:
- General candidates: 19-24 years, born between Jan 2 1992 and Jan 1 1997, both dates inclusive
- CPL holders: 19-25 years between Jan 2, 1991 and Jan 1, 1997, both dates inclusive
Selection Procedure:
- The Integrated Headquaters, Minsitry of Defence reserve the right to shortlist applications and fix cut-offs based on the educational qualifications, for the candidates. No form of communication shall be entertained in this aspect
- Candidates shortlisted by the board will be called for the Service Selection Board Interview through an email or an SMS
- Candidates will have to go through a four-stage selection procedure:
- First stage: Intelligence tests, picture perceptions and group discussions
- Stage two: Psychological tests, Group task tests and interviews
- Candidates who fail to clear stage 1 will be sent back on the day itself
- Candidates applying for the role of a Pilot will go through a Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT)
- For the Observer's entry, candidates will have to appear for Aviation Medical Examination
