International Institute for Population Sciences has undertaken National Family Health Survey project for which has invited applications to recruit eligible candidates.

Eligibility-
  • Senior Project Officer (Field) - 
  • The applying candidate should have PhD degree (Awarded or submitted) in Population Sciences/Social  Sciences/Statistics/Public Health/Mathematics or post graduate degree in these subjects with minimum 4 years experience in the field of social research and community based research. 
  • Senior Project Officer(Medical)- 
  • The applying candidate should have done MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS with 2 years of experience in designing and implementing M&E systems within the health sector. Demonstrated public health experience/community focus. 
  • Understanding of quantitative research methods and measurement. 
  • Project Officer (Field) -
  • The applying candidate should have post graduate in Population Sciences/Social Sciences/Statistics/Public Health/Mathematics from a recognized University
  • Two years' experience in survey field work with excellent oral & written communication skills in English and local language.
  • Project Officer (Medical) -
  • The applying candidate should have done MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS.

Salary-
  • Senior Project Officer (Field) - Rs. 45,000/- Per Month (Consolidated)
  • Senior Project Officer(Medical)- Rs. 45,000/- Per Month (Consolidated)
  • Project Officer (Field) - Rs. 30,000/- Per Month (Consolidated)
  • Project Officer (Medical) - Rs. 30,000/- Per Month (Consolidated)

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Junior Project Officer/Senior Project Officer/Programmer/Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts before October 17, 2014.

Eligibility
  • Candidates willing to apply should have Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Thermal, Applied Mechanics and Manufacturing (other disciplines related to mechanical in Industrial Engineering; reliability will also be considered with basic requirements of either of the above specializations) or Electronics and Communications Engineering or Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering with specialization in Instrumentation, Control systems, Embedded Systems Computer Science and Engineering /Information Technology or Civil Engineering or Chemical Engineering with specialization in chemical process dynamics Mining/Environmental Science/Mathematics and Informatics/Statistics/Electronics background may be considered for a few lab activities in Mining.

Salary
  • Up to Rs 35000 per month, depending on qualification & experience.

Educational qualifications required:


1.    For the post of senior project officer
: Candidates applying for this post are required to possess a Ph.D. degree in water waste related issues. Also, candidate should have an experience in waste water treatment plants, should have good communication skills and should be an expert in report preparation.
2.    For the post of project officer: To apply for this post, candidate should have done M. Tech in environmental engineering/ chemical engineering/ biotechnology. Also an experience in waste and water analysis is required. The candidate should have good communication skills as well.
3.    For the post of project assistant: Candidate should have acquired a B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com degree.
4.    For the post project technician: Candidate should have acquired a diploma in civil engineering.
