The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for recruitment at 300 posts of Special Management Executives. The interested and eligible candidates can apply by August 11.
The candidates will be short listed on the basis of following selection process:

Phase I:

Online Exam: The candidates will have to appear for an online exam carrying 250 marks in total. The online exam will be segregated into two parts: Objective test and Descriptive test. Objective test will have to be solved in a total time of 120 minutes and descriptive test will have to be completed in the time duration of 75 minutes.

Objective Test:
  1. Test details: No. of questions: Marks
  2. Banking Knowledge: 50 questions: 50 marks
  3. Data Interpretation and Analysis: 50 questions: 50 marks
  4. Reasoning: 50 questions: 50 marks
  5. General Awareness: 50 questions: 50 marks
Descriptive Test:
  • English Language Test (Letter writing and Essay): 50 marks

Phase II:
  • Group Discussion and Interview:
  • The aggregate marks of objective test and descriptive test of the qualified candidates will be arranged in descending order of merit and only those candidates having scored maximum three times the number of vacancies in each category will be called for group discussion and interview.
  • Group Discussion will consist of 20 marks and the interview will carry 30 marks in total.
Final Selection:
  • The candidates are required to qualify both the phases separately. The marks secured by the candidates in the written test (out of 250 marks) will be converted to what he recieves in out of 75 and marks secured in group discussion and interview (out of 50 marks) will be  converted to what he recieves in out of 25. The final merit list will be based on aggregated converted marks of the examination and group discussion and interview out of 100 for each category.
