National Institute of Technology (NIT), Puducherry has announced vacancies for the posts of Professor and Assistant Professor. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the prescribed format on or before July 15.

Pay scale:
  1. Professor: The selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay band of Rs 37,400 to Rs 67,000, along with an AGP of Rs 10,500.
  2. Assistant Professor: The selected candidates will receive a salary in the pay band of Rs 37,400 to Rs 67,000, along with an AGP of Rs 9,500.
  3. Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their past academic record and work experience. The interview will be conducted by the scrutiny committee.
