Mahesh Bank, the A.P Mahesh Co-operative Urban Bank has invited applications for recruitment at various officer posts. The interested and eligible candidates must send in their applications on or by April 13.

Name of the post: Probationary officers
The candidates will be initially appointed on a probation period of one year.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
The candidates applying for the posts must have a second class post graduate or double graduation degree from a recognised university.
Age limit:
The candidates applying for the above posts must be a minimum of 28 years of age.
Selection procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of an online test and an interview which will be conducted by the bank.
Pay scale
The candidate will be paid a salary of Rs 15,000 for the first year and Rs 3,750 on the basis of their performance.

How to apply

The candidates must apply for the posts on the official website of the bank. The candidates must upload the scanned copies of their certificates, documents and testimonials. The candidates can submit the application fee online or through a demand draft or bank challan.
While applying, the candidates have an option to select the examination centre for the online test, from Hyderabad or Vijaywada.

Bharatiya Mahila Bank Limited has invited job applications for recruitment to the post of Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade/Scale I (JM G/S -I). Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the job before June 25, 2014.

Vacancy details:

  • Name of post: Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade / Scale I (JM G/S -I)

Eligibility criteria:
  • The applicant should possess a degree in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government and must have qualified the IBPS CWE PO/MT III Exam.
  • The age of the candidate should be between 20 to 30 years as on June 1, 2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Selection process:
  • The candidates will be selected based on merit in CWE PO/MT-III process. The candidates will initially be recruited on provisional basis for a period of two years.

  • Once the candidate has submitted the duly filled application he or she is required to take a system generated print out of the same.

Union Bank of India has released the list of candidates who are provisionally allotted by the IBPS for the post of Probationary Officers (PO) in JMGS-I under CWE-III at the bank.
  • 1049 candidates have been allotted for the post of Clerks at the bank.  Candidates can check results at http://www.unionbankofindia.co.in/abt_recruitmentaspx.aspx
  • The examinations were conducted in October 2013 and the interviews on January 2, 2014.
  • The provisional offers of appointment are being sent to the correspondence address of the candidates provided by them in their On-line application forms submitted to the IBPS.
  • These candidates are required to report on or before May 06, 2014 for completion of pre recruitment formalities at the venue mentioned in their provisional offers of appointment with the Photographs (as uploaded on the IBPS Online Application), Permanent Address Proof and Original Pan Card. Please note that they are also required to bring all the Original Certificates/ Documents and the latest Caste Certificate in the prescribed and notified formats (formats are available on Bank's website).
  • Candidates have to report at Offices present in 11 cities; Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Varanasi.
  • Upon successful completion of recruitment formalities and being found medically fit in the pre-recruitment medical examination, they will be required to undergo mandatory induction training for a period of 3 weeks. The details of this induction training will be communicated in due course.

State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications from Graduate Indian National candidates for appointment of Probationary Officers. Last date to apply for the post is April 25, 2014.

  • Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized  as such by the Central Government. Final Year Graduate stduents may also apply.
  • Age Limit : As on April 1, 2014: 21 to 30 years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 Years for SC/ ST/ Ex-Serviceman and persons ordinarily domiciled in Kashmir Division before 1989; 3 Years for OBC; PWD (SC/ST) - 15 Years, PWD (OBC) - 13 Years PWD (Gen) - 10 Years.
  • Salary: Starting basic pay is Rs 16,900 (with 4 increments) in the scale of Rs 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700

Selection Process:
  • Phase-I: Examination consisting Objective Tests and Descriptive Test.
  • Objective Test - Two hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) as follows: (1) Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.); (2) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers; (3) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation; (4) Test of Reasoning (High Level).
  • Descriptive Test - One hour duration (50 marks) will be of "Test of English Language (comprehension, short precis, letter writing & essay)".
  • Phase-II: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks).
  • Final Selection: Candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase-II separately. Marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25.
  • The final merit list is arrived after aggregating converted marks of Written Test and Group Discussion & Interview out of 100 for each category.
  • The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

Application Fee:
  • A Non-Refundable fee of Rs 500 for General and OBC Category Candidates (Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD).
  • Candidates can pay the fee Online from April 7, 2014 to April 25, 2014 or Offline from April 10, 2014 to April 28, 2014.

  • Eligible candidates are required to register online before April 25, 2014. Candidates will required his scanned photograph and signature copy to apply for the post.
  • Selection will be done through recruitment examination.

UCO Bank will recruit 1300 Probationary Officers in JMGS-I, 600 Credit Officers (with qualification in CA, ICWA, MBA) in MMGS-II and 2100 clerks through IBPS .
