  • Reserve Bank of India has invited applications for recruitment of eligible candidates to the posts of officers in Grade B (General) through direct recruitment.
  • Applications are available till June 23. Eligible candidates will be selected through two phases of examinations and an interview.
  • Phase-I of the examination will be held online and consist of objective-type questions only while Phase-II will be a written descriptive type examination. In order to enable aspirants from all corners of the country, RBI has set up multiple exam centres across India.

  • The Phase I exam will be held on multiple dates, tentatively on August 2, August 3, August 9, and August 10, 2014. The Phase II test will likely be held sometime in September or October 2014.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications for recruitment of eligible candidates to the posts of Officers in Grade B (General) through direct recruitment.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply till June 23, 2014. Selection of the candidates for above mentioned post will be done through two phases of examinations and an interview.
How to apply:
  • Candidates have to apply only online on the official website of RBI.
  • While applying online, when the data or the soft copies of the documents submitted are saved, provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates are then required to note down the provisional registration number and password. Email and SMS indicating the provisional registration number and password will also be sent to the candidates after successful registration.
  • Candidates need not submit the system generated print out (hard copy) of the online application to the board's office.
  • Also, once the application form has been filled, candidates should submit the data and pay fees/intimation charges to complete the registration process. Candidates can pay online or offline through e-challan at one of the banks that are Bank of Baroda / Bank of India / Bank of Maharashtra / Central Bank of India / Indian Overseas Bank / Punjab National Bank and United Bank of India.
