The Kerala Sustainable Urban Development Project (KSUDP), Thiruvananthapuram has recently published a recruitment notification inviting interested and eligible candidates to fill up various vacant positions. KSUDP is a ADB assisted project. It covers five municipal corporations in Kerala: Kochi, Kollam, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur. KSUDP was initiated by government of Kerala with financial support from Asian Development Bank.

Pay Scale:
  • As per KSUDP rules

Educational  Qualification:
  1. Candidate should possess urban planer/management expert having strong back ground in project management with experience for Post 1.
  2. Candidate should have graduation degree in finance from any recognised university with experience in relative field for Post 3.
  3. For all the rest posts, the candidate should have graduation degree in engineering from any recognised university with experience in relative field .
  4. Candidate should have master degree in social science with experience of working in development area in urban development  Post 5.
  5. Candidate should have graduate degree in IT (Information Technology) with experience for Post 6.

The Directorate of Town Planning & Urban Bodies, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, invite application for appointment of professionals on contractual basis for a period of three years on fixed pay.
The recruitment is done for Capacity Building of Urban Local Bodies, under the Capacity Building Programme, sanctioned by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India (under JnNURM). Candidates can apply in the prescribed format before August 20, 2014.

Eligibility Criteria
  1. Team Leader: Candidates should have expertise in Urban Planning/Management and should have strong background in project management with 7-10 years in a management position.
  2. Municipal Finance Specialist: Candidates should have a graduate degree in finance from recognised university with 7-10 years experience.
  3. Urban Infrastructure Specialist: Candidates should have a graduate degree in engineering from recognised university having at least 7-10 years experience in designing and managing municipal infrastructure project. 
  4. Social Development Specialist: Candidates should have a master or doctoral degree in Social Sciences, with at least 7-10 years experience in undertaking social and community development initiatives and appraisals in the municipal environment.
  5. Environmental Specialist: Candidates should have a university degree in environmental engineering or similar field and at least 7-10 years experience in assessing, monitoring, and mitigating environmental impacts of urban infrastructure investments.
  6. IT cum Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist: Candidates should belong to management background and have at least 7-10 years experience in monitoring and evaluating large projects and programmes, preferable in the urban sector.
  7. Team Leader - (Town Planner): Candidates should have expertise in Urban Planning/Management and have strong background in project management with 3-5 years in a management position. 
  8. Municipal Finance Specialist: Graduate Degree in Finance from recognised university with 3-5 years experience.
  9. Urban Infrastructure Specialist: Graduate engineers from recognised university, having at least 3-5 years experience in designing and managing municipal infrastructure project.
  10. Social Development Specialist: Master Degree in Social Sciences, should have at least 3-5 years experience in undertaking social and community development initiatives and appraisals in the municipal environment
  11. Environmental Specialist: University Degree in Environmental Engineering or similar field and at least 3-5 years experience in assessing, monitoring, and mitigating environmental impacts of urban infrastructure investments.
