- The candidates applying for either of the posts are required to have graduated from a recognised university.
- The candidates applying for the posts should age between 18 and 42 years.
- The candidates should have been employed in central government/ semi government/ private firm.
- Lieutenant: PB-3 Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with grade pay Rs 5,400
- Captain: PB-3 Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with grade pay Rs 6,600
- Major: PB-3 Rs 15,600 - 39,100 with grade pay Rs 6,600
- LT Colonel: PB-4 Rs 37,400 - 67,000 with grade pay Rs 8,000
- Colonel: PB-4 Rs 37,400 - 67,000 with grade pay Rs 8,700
- Brigadier: PB-4 Rs 37400-67000 with grade pay Rs 8900
- In order to apply, the candidates are required to obtain the application form from the employment newspaper. Or the candidates can visit the www.indianarmy.gov.in link. The candidates are required to send a self-addressed stamped envelope of 28 x12 cms size, two passport-size photographs and postal stamps worth Rs 12 (Rs 25 for J&K) affixed on envelop to the respective TA Group headquarters as per the area.
