Office of the Director General of Police, Government of Arunachal Pradesh has released a recruitment notification for the posts of upper division clerk and lower division clerk against Civil Police/IRBN.
Vacancy Details:
- Total Posts:22 posts

- Upper Divisional Clerk(UDC): 10 posts
- Lower Divisional Clerk(LDC): 11 posts
Eligibility Criteria:
- UDC: Graduation from a recognized university.
- Basic knowledge in Computer Application.
- LDC: Matriculation or equivalent educational qualification from a recognized Board.
- Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
- Basic knowledge in Computer Application.
Age Limit:
- The age of candidate should be between 18 to 28 years as on January 1, 2015.
How to apply:
- Eligible and interested applicants can download the specimen of application form from the website of Arunanchal Pradesh Police.
- The application form along with a duly attested copies of certificates of educational qualification, proof of age etc with three recent passport size photographs.
- The application forms can either be sent by ordinary post or directly submitted by hand at PHQ Itanagar.
Selection Procedure:
- Candidates will be selected through written test and personal interview. Only those candidates who will score passing marks in written test will be called for the interview round.
Written examination:
- The written examinatio will be of Multiple choice on OMR answer scripts.
- The minimum pass marks in written examination will be 33% in each subject and 45% in aggregate.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The typing speed test will be qualifying in nature and no marks will be given. However, candidates failing in typing speed test will be rejected.
Interview: The candidates scoring higher marks in written test in order of merit will be called for interview/viva voce at the ratio of 1:3 with respect to the vacancies.
