Odisha High Court, Cuttack has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling 11 posts of junior grade typist/data entry operator & junior stenographer. Interested candidates can apply through the prescribed format given on the official website before December 24, 2014.

Vacancies: 

• Total Number of the Post: 11  
• Junior Grade Typist/ Data Entry Operator: 10 
• Junior Stenographer: 01

Eligibility Criteria: 

Qualification: 

• Junior Grade Typist/Data Entry Operator: The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline and must have an English typing speed of 40 words per minute. 
• Junior Stenographer: The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Computer Application. Minimum English shorthand of 80 words per minute and English typing speed of 40 words per minute is also required.

Age Limit: 18-35 years as on January 01, 2014 (for both the posts).

Pay Scale: 

• Junior Grade Typist/Data Entry Operator: Rs 5200-20200 & Rs1900 
• Junior Stenographer: Rs 5200-20200 & Rs 2400

How to Apply: The interested and eligible candidates need to send in their duly filled applications through online mode only. The signed copy of the Online application along with self attested photocopies of the certificates are to be sent to Special Officer (Special Cell), Orissa High Court, Cuttack, within 7 days from the last date of submission of online application.

• SC-2

Eligibility-

• The applying candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
• The aspirant should also have additional qualification in data entry operation with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute in English type writing. 

Salary-

• Selected candidates will be paid in a pay scale of Rs.5,200-20,200/- with grade pay of Rs.1,900/-

Selection process-

• Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of a written test conducted by the recruitment committee. 
• The exam will consist of 4 parts:
• Part 1- It will be of 2 hours with a maximum of 100 marks. The paper will cover English (Essay, Translation of a passage from Odia to English and from English to Odia, Grammar) Part 2- The test will be only of 10 minutes and will be of 100 marks it is basically a skill test in type writing.
• Part 3- This will be a computer test of 30 minutes with a maximum of 100 marks.
• Part 4- There will be a viva voice of 20 marks.
