IBPS RRBs CWE-III paper pattern 2014

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is conducting an online common written test (CWE) for the posts of group-A officers (scale I, II, III) and group- B office assistants (multi-purpose) in rural banks.
The registrations for this ended on July 9. The exams are scheduled to take place in September though no confirmed date has been provided.

The exam paper pattern for the online common written test is listed below:

Group: I for 'A & B 'category States (under Official Languages Act):
  1. Total time allotted: 2 hours and 30 minutes
  2. Name: No. of questions: Total marks
  3. Reasoning: 40 questions: 50 marks
  4. Numerical Ability: 40 questions: 50 marks
  5. General Awareness: 40 questions: 40 marks
  6. English Language: 40 questions: 40 marks
  7. Hindi Language: 40 questions: 40 marks
  8. Computer Knowledge: 40 questions: 20 marks
Officer Scale-I
  1. Total time allotted: 2 hours and 30 minutes
  2. Name: No. of questions: Total marks
  3. Reasoning: 40 questions: 50 marks
  4. Quantitative Aptitude: 40 questions: 50 marks
  5. General Awareness: 40 questions: 40 marks
  6. English Language: 40 questions: 40 marks
  7. Hindi Language: 40 questions: 40 marks
  8. Computer Knowledge: 40 questions: 20 marks
Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer)
  1. Total time allotted: 2 hours and 30 minutes

  4. Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation: 40 questions: 50 marks
  5. Financial Awareness: 40 questions: 40 marks

Officer Scale-II (Specialist Cadre)

  6. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. If the candidates do not answer a particular question, no marks will be reduced.
