Indian Institute of Population Sciences has invited applications for various posts on contractual basis. The candidates will be recruited for the project- 'Follow-up Children Surveyed under CNSM in Amravati and Nashik Divisions'.

Eligibility-
The applying candidate should have done graduation in any discipline  (arts/ science/commerce) with minimum 50 per cent marks.
The candidates should also have good communication skills as well as conversant in Marathi as compulsory with manageable knowledge of Hindi and English.
The applicant should also have some experience of conducting field interviews and taking anthropometric measurements of children 3-6 years.
Job Description-
The candidate will be required to stay in the field during the data collection work along with the team members.
Salary-
Selected candidates will be paid Rs 15,500 per month plus Rs 500 as daily allowances to meet the expenses of food and lodging during the field work and Rs 200 during training period.
Selection Process-
Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of walk-in interview conducted by the recruitment committee.

The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has invited job applications for recruitment to the post of field investigators on contract basis. Interested and eligible candidates are supposed to apply on or before 29 June 2014.

Eligibility criteria:
  • The candidate should possess a graduate degree from a recognised university with Statistics or Economics or Mathematics as one of the papers at Degree level.
  • The candidate should know English, Kannada/ Gujarati/ Tamil/ any other local language and also be adept with computer applications like MS office etc.
  • The age of the candidate age should be between 21-30 years as on July 1, 2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
