Applications are invited for filling up the following vacancies under the Government of Nagaland in the manner prescribed below :

  1. 20 posts of Extra Assistant Commissioner (Class-I Gazetted, Junior Grade) under Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Nagaland.
  2. 03 posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Class-I Gazetted) under Home Department, Police Establishment Branch, Nagaland.
  3. 02 posts of Youth Resources Officer (Class-II Gazetted) under Youth Resources and Sports Department, Nagaland.

Nagaland Public Service Commission hiring for 70 posts

The Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has invited applications for recruitment at 70 posts. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by May 25. The application forms will be available May 12 onwards.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:
The candidates applying for either of the posts are required to have a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
Age limit:
  • The candidates applying for these posts should age between 21 and 30 years. 
Pay scale:
  • Extra Assistant Commissioner: PB - 3, Rs 15,600 - 39,100+ GP Rs 5,400
  • Deputy Superintendent of Police: PB - 3, Rs 15,600 - 39,100+ GP Rs 5,400
  • Youth Resources Officer: PB - 2, Rs 9,300 - 34,800+ GP Rs 4,600
  • Station Superintendent: PB - 2, Rs 9,300 - 34,800+ GP Rs 4,400
  • Secretariat Assistant: PB - 2, Rs 9,300 - 34,800+ GP Rs 4,200
  • Research Assistant (special tribe): PB - 1, Rs 5,200 - 20,200+ GP Rs 2,800
  • Research Assistant: PB - 1, Rs 5,200 - 20,200+ GP Rs 2,800

How to apply:
  • In order to apply, the candidates are required to log in through the Nagaland State Portal. After duly filling the mandatory columns in the application form, the candidates should insert photographs and signatures, make the online fee payment and submit the form for acceptance.

Selection process:
  • The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the written exam.
