Bank of Maharashtra has invited applications for the recruitment of candidates to 40 vacancies. The interested and eligible candidates must send in their applications on or before April 21.

Eligibility criteria:
  1. Educational qualification:The candidates applying for the post must have a graduation or postgraduation degree from a recognised university or institution.
    Experience:The candidates must have a minimum experience of two years, in any corporate company, bank or firm.
    Age limit:The candidates must be a minimum of 21 years and must not exceed 35 years.
  2. Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in a group discussion and a personal interview.

The candidates must attach the self-attested copies of their documents and certificates along with the application.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualifications:
  1. Economist: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess post graduate degree in Economics with specialisation in Monetary/ Financial economics from any having acquired at least 3 years of work experience in a commercial bank/ finance institution.
  2. Chief economist: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess post graduate degree in Economics with specialisation in Monetary/ Financial economics from any having acquired at least 3 years of work experience in a commercial bank/ finance institution.
  3. Chartered accountant: The candidates applying for this post should have passed the final examination exam for chartered accountant and should hold experience of serving as assistant general manager with at least 10 to 12 years in public banking sector.
  4. Chief customer service officer: The candidates applying for this post should be retired general manager from any other public sector bank other than Indian Overseas bank and should hold ten years of experience as a general manager in any bank.

Age limit:
  1. Economist: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 40 years.
  2. Chief economist: The candidates applying for this post should age between 45 and 62 years.
  3. Chartered accountant: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 62 years.
  4. Chief customer service officer: The candidates applying for this post should not age more than 60 years.

Pay Scale:
  1. Economist: Rs 60,000 per month
  2. Chief economist: Rs 75,000 per month
  3. Chartered accountant: Rs 60,000 per month
  4. Chief customer service officer: Rs 60,000 per month

Selection process:
The candidates will be short listed through the documents and thereafter be called for interview.

The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has invited applications for the recruitment of Economist, Chief Economist, Chartered Accountant and Chief Customer Officer. Selected candidates will be hired on a contract basis and will be posted at the central office in Chennai. The last date for registration is August 30, 2014.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS:
Economist: 1 post
  • Salary: Rs 60,000 per month all inclusive subject to deduction of taxes
  • Eligibility: The age of the candidate should be below 40 years. The candidate should have completed postgraduation in Economics with specialisation in monetary/financial economics or econometrics from a recognised Indian/foreign university/institute. Those candidates with doctoral degree in areas of money/banking/international finance will be given preference.
  • Experience: Candidate should have minimum three years of experience as an Economist in a commercial bank/financial institution or teaching experience as a lecturer in economics.

Chief Economist: 1 post
  • Salary: Rs 75,000 per month all inclusive subject to deduction of taxes
  • Eligibility: The age of the candidate should be between 45 and 62 years. The candidate should have completed postgraduation in Economics with specialisation in monetary/financial economics or econometrics from a recognised Indian/foreign university/institute. Those candidates with doctoral degree in areas of money/banking/international finance will be given preference.
  • Experience: Candidate should have a minimum 10 years of experience as an Economist in a commercial bank/financial institution or teaching experience as a lecturer in economics. 
Chartered Accountant: 1 post
  • Salary: Rs 60,000 per month all inclusive subject to deduction of taxes
  • Eligibility: The age of the candidate should be below 62 years. Candidates should have completed final examination for Chartered Accountants. Candidates who have passed ACS and/or ICWA will be given preference
  • Experience: Candidate should have retired at a rank not below the rank of Assistant General Manager with minimum 10-12 years of hands-on-experience in a public sector bank.

Chief Customer Service Officer: 1 post
  • Salary: Rs 60,000 per month all inclusive subject to deduction of taxes
  • Eligibility: The age of the candidate should be below 60 years. Candidates should have retired as a general manager from a public sector bank. 
  • Experience: Candidate should have minimum of 10 years of experience in the operational front.

SelectionEligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in a personal interview.
