UPSC CAPF Exam 2014: Recruitment for 136 vacant posts

The Union Public Service Commission has invited application for Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2014. Last date to apply for the same is May 12, 2014.

The examination is held to test the eligibility of candidates seeking recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial security Force (CISF), Indo -Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Name of Post: Assistant Commandant

• BSF: 68 Posts
• CRPF: 28 Posts
• CISF: 40 Posts

Total Number of Post: 136

Eligibility criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Applicants should have a degree from a recognized university.
• Age Limit (as on 1 August 2014): Applicant's age should be between 20 to 25 years. Age relaxation as per government norms is applicable.

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has invited applications in prescribed format from Male/ Female Indian citizens for the posts of Head Constables.

The eligible candidates are requested to read the complete notification before applying for the post.

Pay Scale :
