ITI qualified female candidates: 147 posts

• Salary: Pay Scale Rs 7,950 - 150 - 8,100 - 190 - 9,050 - 240 - 10,250 - 300 - 11,750 - 360 - 16,790
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be above 18 years. The candidate should have completed a 18-24 months certificate course in the Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic trade from an Industrial Training Institute (ITIs) recognised by the Government of Karnataka.

ITC qualified Male/Female candidates: 88 posts

• Salary: Pay Scale Rs 7,950 - 150 - 8,100 - 190 - 9,050 - 240 - 10,250 - 300 - 11,750 - 360 - 16,790
• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be above 18 years.  
• The candidate should have passed Class 10 and have a minimum three-year duration passing certificate in the Lineman trade/ Electrician trade (ITC) from an Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.

Selection

• Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of an endurance test and then a medical examination. Only candidates short-listed on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination will be called for the endurance test.

• For ITC candidates: Should have passed 10th Standard Examination and should have a pass certificate of THREE YEARS “Lineman trade”/“Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.
• Recruitment to the posts of Assistant Lineman will be made by selection strictly on merit, based on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination only.

FEE:

•  Rs 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only) in respect of candidates belonging to General Category and Category-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB.
• Rs 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category.

• Eligibility: Age of the candidate should be above 18 years and below 35 years, candidate should have knowledge of Kannada reading and writing, normal eye sight and should have a pass certificate of 18/24 months course in Electrician/ Electronics / Electronic Mechanic trade from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) recognized by Government of Karnataka with minimum 60 per cent marks.

• Candidates short listed on basis of academic merit will be called for an endurance test and a medical examination.
