Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has notified recruitment to 394 vacancies for the post of Probationary Engineer. It has invited applications from graduate engineers to fill the posts in these fields- Mechanics, Computer Science, Electronics, Civil and Electrical. BEL is a navratna company established by the government, it functions under the Ministry of Defence. The interested and eligible candidates may apply according to the given format.

  • Total number of posts: 394

Name of the post:
  1. Probationary engineer (Electronics): 200
  2. Probationary engineer (Mechanical): 120
  3. Probationary engineer (Computer Science): 57
  4. Probationary engineer (Civil): 10
  5. Probationary engineer (Electrical): 7

Eligibility criteria:
  • The candidates are required to have an engineering degree in any of these disciplines- Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Communication, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering and Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. This degree should be from an AICTE approved institution
  • The candidates holding an AMIE or AMIETE qualification in any of the disciplines mentioned above are also eligible to apply
  1. Selection procedure: The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination.
  2. Application procedure: The interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website of Bharat Electronics Limited, www.bel-india.com. Once the online application process is complete, the candidates are required to send a print out of the application along with all necessary documents to 'P.O. Box no. 3076, Lodi Road, New Delhi- 110003'.
  3. Application fee: The candidates under the General and OBC categories have to pay a fee of Rs 500. The payment has to be made through a bank challan at any SBI branch. The candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories are not required to pay any fee.

Important dates:
  • The last date for submitting online applications is May 14
  • The candidates can send the hard copies of the applications up to May 20
  • The admit cards for the written examination will be released on June 6
