The State Bank of India has issued a notice for recruitment to the posts of life insurance agents and life insurance advisors. There are a total of 295 vacancies. The selected candidates will be posted in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The interested and eligible candidates are required to apply according to prescribed format, on or before June 30.

  1. Total number of posts: 295
Name of the post:
  1. Life insurance agent: 195
  2. Life insurance advisor: 100
Eligibility criteria:
  1. Life insurance agent: The candidates must have passed the SSC examination or have an equivalent qualification. They should have cleared the examination in the year 2000 or later.
  2. Life insurance advisor: The candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognised university. They should have attained this degree in the year 2000 or later.
Age limit:
  1. Life insurance agent: The candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 33 years.
  2. Life insurance advisor: The candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 50 years.
  3. Application procedure: The interested and eligible candidates can apply online at the official website www.maharojgar.gov.in. The candidates can apply by following the steps mentioned below:
  • Go to www.maharojgar.gov.in
  • Click on the tab 'Current Jobs'
  • Click on 'Jobs posted on Maharojgar Portal'
  • Select 'Private Job' option
  • Choose the option according to your requirement, 'Login to View and Apply for Eligible Vacancies' or 'New User'
  • Select the post for which you want to apply
  • Fill the application form with required details
  • Click on 'Submit'
