Nationa Book Trust notifies recruitment for various posts

National Book Trust, India has invited applications for the recruitment of candidates to various posts. The interested and eligible candidates must send in their applications on or before April 18.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification

1. Marketing Executive: The candidate must have a degree from a recognised university and must have a working knowledge of English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil or Telugu
2. Shop Assistant: The candidate must have a degree from a recognised university and must have a working knowledge of English and Hindi    
3. Jr. Library Assistant: The candidates must have at least passed matriculation examination from a recognised university or board and must have a certificate in library science

Experience

1. Marketing Executive: The candidate must have a minimum of five years experience in book selling
2. Shop Assistant: The candidate must have a minimum of three years experience in book selling
3. Jr. Library Assistant: The candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in book selling

Selection procedure

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the personal interview

Pay scale

1. Marketing Executive: The candidates will be paid a salary of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 2,800
2. Shop Assistant: The candidates will be paid a salary of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 2,400
3. Jr. Library Assistant: The candidates will be paid a salary of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 with a grade pay of Rs 1,900
