IIT Bhubaneswar has invited applications for various posts on a contract basis. The interested and eligible candidates should apply according to the prescribed format.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualifications:

• Junior Technical Superintendent: The applicants should have a B.Tech degree with 55 percent marks, or any equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution. This degree should be in their respective field.
• Junior Technician: The applicants should have a B.Tech or B.E. degree with 55 percent marks, or any equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution. This degree should be in their respective field.
• Junior Laboratory Assistant: The applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Science with 55 percent marks, or any equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution. This degree should be in their respective field.

Age limit:

• Junior Technical Superintendent: The upper age limit is 35 years.
• Junior Technician: The upper age limit is 32 years.
• Junior Laboratory Assistant: The upper age limit is 32 years.

Pay scale:

• Junior Technical Superintendent: The selected applicants will receive a salary in the pay band of Rs 9,300 to 34,800, along with a grade pay of Rs 4,200.
• Junior Technician: The selected applicants will receive a salary in the pay band of Rs 5,200 to 20,200, along with a grade pay of Rs 2,000.
• Junior Laboratory Assistant: The selected applicants will receive a salary in the pay band of Rs 5,200 to 20,200, along with a grade pay of Rs 2,000.
• Selection procedure: The candidates shall be selected on the basis of a written test, trade test and an interview to be conducted by the institution.
• Application procedure: The candidates must submit the online applications at www.iitbbs.ac.in. They are required to send a hard copy along with self-attested copies of necessary documents to the institution.
• Application fee: The applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500. The payment has to be made through Demand Draft (DD) in the name of 'Registrar, IIT Bhubaneshwar'.
• Important dates: The last date for submitting online applications is April 17.
• The hard copy of the application must reach the institution by April 24.
