AIIMS New Delhi notifies vacancies for various posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced job openings for various posts under a DBT funded research project. The interested and eligible candidates may apply online according to the given format.

Vacancy details:

Name of the post:

• Dietician: 1
• Lab technician: 1
• Driver: 1

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

• Dietician: The candidates should have an M.Sc in food and nutrition from a recognised university or institution.

Lab technician:

• The candidates should have a B.Sc in medical laboratory technology from a recognised university, or
• They should have passed Class 12 or Intermediate with science subjects from a recognised Board, or
• The candidates should have a diploma in medical laboratory technology from a recognised institute

Driver: The candidates should have knowledge of motor mechanism and should be able to resolve minor defects in vehicles. They must have a valid driver's license.

Experience:

• Dietician: The candidates should have at least two years' experience in their field, preferably at teaching hospitals. They should have previously worked at a community setting or field posting.
• Lab technician: The candidates should have a minimum of one year's experience at a NABL certified medical laboratory.
• Driver: The candidates are required to have at least three years' experience in driving motor vehicles for a government or PSU organisation. They must have experience of driving in Delhi NCR region.

Age limit:

• Dietician: The upper age limit for the candidates is 35 years as on May 6.
• Lab technician: The candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 30 years as on May 6.
• Driver: The candidates should be in the age group of 18 to 30 years as on May 6.

Pay scale:

• Dietician: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs 25,020.
• Lab technician: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs 14,400.
• Driver: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs 13,500.
• Selection procedure: The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their applications, and these shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
