Department of Law, Justice & Legislative Affairs (Department of LJ & LA), New Delhi has invited applications for empanelment as Panel Counsel for district courts and for appointment as Standing Counsel/Additional Standing Counsel. The advocates eligible for the post should send their applications before April 7.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Educational qualification: Panel counsel for district courts: Bachelor's degree in Law and registered with any Bar Council in Delhi with minimum experience of 4 years in High Court or District Court.
2. Standing Counsel and Additional Standing Counsel: Bachelor's degree in Law and registered with any Bar Council in Delhi with minimum experience of 7 years in the Supreme Court/High Court/CAT/NGT.
3. How to apply: Interested and eligible advocates/counsel should send their application along with the DD in original and attested copies of all required certificates/documents/testimonials by Registered/Speed post in an envelope super-scribed with 'Application for the empanelment in the panel of advocates of GNCTD' to 'The Principal Secretary (LJ & LA), Department of Law, Justice & Legislative Affairs, Government of NCT of Delhi, 8th level, C- Wing, Delhi Secretariat, IP Estate, New Delhi' so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 7 April.
