Eligibility criteria:

1. Research associate: Candidates applying for this post should have obtained a PhD in Biotechnology or Chemical Engineering/Biochemical Engineering or Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Biochemical Engineering.
2. Junior research fellow: Candidates applying for this post should have done their MSc or M.Tech in Food Science & Technology/Food & Nutrition or Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology or Biochemistry/Biotechnology.
3. Project fellow-I: Candidates applying for this post should have obtained Master's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry/Biotechnology.

Age limit:

1. Research associate: Candidates applying for this post should not age more than 35 years. 
2. Junior research fellow: Candidates applying for this post should not age more than 28 years.
3. Project fellow-I: Candidates applying for this post should not age more than 28 years.

Pay scale:

1. Research associate: Rs 36,000+ HRA
2. Junior research fellow: Rs 25,000+ HRA
3. Project fellow-I: Rs 16,000
4.
