West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has invited applications
from eligible candidates for filling up the post of warder under
department of correctional administration. Interested and eligible

- Total posts: 760
- Name of the post: warder
- Educational qualification:The candidates must have passed Madhyamik examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) or its equivalent examination from a recognised board.
- Age limit: Age as of January 1 2015, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 27 years.
- The candidates will have to appear for four tests i.e. physical measurement test, physical efficiency test, written examination and interview to be conducted by the organisation. The candidates have to attempt 90 questions. The written examination will comprise of five subjects i.e.
- General awareness and general knowledge: 30 marks
- English: 24 marks
- Elementary Mathematics: 15 marks
- Reasoning: 12 marks
- Computer Literacy: 9 marks
- There will be negative marking for each answer.
- Pay scale:The candidates will be paid Rs 5,400 - 25,200 per month.
- How to apply:The eligible candidates can apply through official website, for which the link is provided here: policewb.gov.in. The candidates are required to upload the scanned copy of their recent passport size photograph and signature in jpg format.
- Application Fee:An application fee of Rs 200 is to be paid by candidates for the registration process.
