Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation announced recruitment for 26 vacancies for the post of Flight Operation Inspectors and applications are invited from eligible candidates by the organization. The interested candidates for the post may apply through prescribed format as mentioned on the website before the last date.
Vacancies: 
  1. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): 04 Posts
  2. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter): 01 Post
  3. Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): 09 Posts
  4. Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): 12 Posts\

Eligibility Criteria: 
Qualification: 
  1. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): The candidate should have an AirlineTransport Pilot's License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft and must have the experience of not less than 6,500 hours and not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on air transport aircraft. 
  2. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter): Should have a commercial Pilot's License (Helicopter) issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command. Should have the qualification of an examiner/instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil helicopter or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defense services. The candidate must have a total experience of not less than 4,000 hours and not less than 2,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on helicopters. 
  3. Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Should have an Airline transport Pilot's License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft and a total experience of not less than 6,000 hours and not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on air transport aircraft. The applying candidate should have an accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency. 
  4. Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Should have an Airline Transport Pilot's License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft. Total experience of not less than 5,000 hours and not less than 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on civil air transport Aircraft.  Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency. 

Age Limit:  
  1. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Upto 55 years 
  2. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter): Upto 55 years 
  3. Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Upto 50 years 
  4. Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Upto 40 years

Pay Scale: 
  1. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Grade Pay of Rs 8900 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance. 
  2. Deputy Chief Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter): Grade pay of Rs.8900 in PB-4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs2000 per hour for 40 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance 
  3. Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Grade Pay of Rs 8700 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance 
  4. Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane): Grade Pay of Rs 7600 in PB 3 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 4000 per hour for 70 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance
