Tamil Nadu Maritime Board releases vacancy for Accounts Officer and Accountant

Tamil Nadu Maritime Board (TNMB) in its recent recruitment notification has announced vacancy for the post of Accounts Officer and Accountant. TNMB was established by the government of India to provide port facilities and promote export oriented Industries and port based industries along the coastal line. The board also facilitates tourism, coastal trade and establishment of port based thermal power plants.

Vacancies: Accounts Officer, Accountant

ELIGIBILITY

For Accounts Officer: 

• Must hold any degree with AICWA or ACA and an experience for a period of not less than five years in maintenance of accounts in PSUs/Reputed companies.

For Accountant:

• Must hold a graduate degree in any discipline. Candidates should have passed CA Intermediate or ICWA Intermediate and must possess a diploma in computer operation.
• Applicants must have practical experience for a period of not less than three years in compilation of accounts in government departments/PSUs or private companies.

1. Salary: A. For Accounts Officer: In a payband of Rs 15600-39100 + Grade pay Rs 5400 + Allowances. 
2. B. For Accountant: In a payband of Rs 9300-34800 +Grade Pay Rs 4800+Allowances.
