The main responsibilities of Staff Selection Commission's Offices include, implementing the policies and programmes of the Commission, supervising and overseeing its field operations, liaisoning and establishing rapport with State Governments and their Departments, making arrangements for impartial and smooth conduct of examinations, assisting Interview Boards and servicing the Examination Centers within their area of jurisdiction. - Recruitment for Group B Posts at Assam
- Senior Technical Assistant (Chemical)- 02 posts
- Junior Scientific Assistant (JSA)- 10 posts
- Applicants must have a Master Degree in Chemistry/Agriculture Chemistry/Soil Science and Degree in Science or its equivalent from a recognised institution.
- The maximum age limit of the candidate must not exceed 30 years as per organisation rules.

- Skill Test
- Computer proficiency Test
- Interview
- Applicants pay scale should be in the pay range of Rs 9,300 - 34,800 per month with grade pay Rs 4,600.
