The Staff Selection Commission has officially notified to hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for making additions to the Select List of Upper Division Grade of the following Services/Cadres:
Central Secretariat Clerical Service;
Armed Forces Headquarters Clerical Service;
Railway Board Secretariat Clerical Service;
Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of Human Resource Development (Depertment of Higher Education)
Election Commission of India Clerical Service
The examination will be held on December 21, 2014 at Delhi, Allahabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Guwahati, Kolkata, Chennai, Chandigarh and Raipur.

How to Apply:

Candidates seeking admission to the examination must apply to the Regional Director (Northern Region), Staff Selection Commission, Block No.12, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi- 110504 through their cadre authorities.
logoApplications must be submitted in the prescribed form. The candidates may use the format of the application form typed neatly in double space in A-4 size paper by downloading the same from the website of the Commission i.e. http://ssc.nic.in.
All application forms and should contain the following particulars:

Name of Examination.
  • Month and Year of Examination.
  • Roll Number or Date of Birth if Roll Number not communicated to candidate.
  • Name of candidate (in full and in block letters).
  • Postal Address as given in application. 
  • Candidates should superscribe their envelopes and correspondence with the words and figures, "UPPER DIVISION CLERKS GRADE LIMITED DEPARTMENTAL COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION, 2014"
  • The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is also holding All India Examination to be conducted on November 2 and November 9 for recruitment at Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Data Entry Operator (DEO) posts.
  • Applications sent will be considered in merit order and will be subjected to availability of vacancies in the respective cadres.
