National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya employment notification for assistant professor posts

The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Meghalaya has invited applications for various posts of assistant professors.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya is among the thirty NITs in India established under the NIT Act 2007 (Amended 2012) of Parliament as institutes of national importance with full funding support from the ministry of human resource development, government of India.

1. Assistant Professor - 4 posts
2. Assistant Professor (On contractual basis) - 4 posts
3. Assistant Professor (On contractual basis) - 4 posts

• Pay Scale: Those who will get selected for this post would be drawing a monthly salary of Rs 30000. 

Eligibility Criteria

•  Age Limit: The applicants' age should not exceed 35 years. Age relaxation would be provided as per the rules.
• Educational Qualification: Eligible and interested candidate should have passed Ph.D with first class at UG & PG levels or equivalent qualification from a recognised board/university.
• Selection Procedure: An interview and a written test would be conducted to shortlist candidates.

• Application Fee: Applicants must enclose a non-refundable application fee of  Rs 500 & Rs 250 only for SC/ST/PWD candidates in the form of demand draft only, drawn on any nationalised bank in favour of National Institute of Technology, Meghalaya, payable at Shillong.
