Jharkhand SSC issues recruitment notice for 1008 posts

Road construction Department, Water resources department, Drinking water and sanitation department of Jharkhand has notified recruitment for 1008 posts. The announcement has been made by Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission to make selection for the vacancies.

Vacancies-

• Junior Engineer in Roads Construction Department- 128 posts
• Junior Engineer in Water Resources Department- 826 posts
• Junior Engineer in Drinking Water and Sanitation Department- 36 posts
• Junior Engineer in Drinking Water and Sanitation Department-18 posts

Eligibility-

• The applying candidate must hold a degree in civil engineering/ diploma in civil or mechanical engineering from a recognized institute.
• The age limit should be minimum of 19 years and a maximum as per the rules of government mentioned in the advertisement.

Selection Process-
The process of shortlisting candidates will take place in two phases.
The first phase of examination will have two papers with 300 marks each having 100 questions.
Paper I- General Knowledge, computer test, mental ability. The paper will be bilingual in nature.
Paper II- This will be Hindi based testing Hindi comprehension and grammar.

The second phase will have two papers too.
Paper I- A total of 120 questions of 2 hours duration.
Paper II- Total of 180 questions with a total of 540 marks. The test will be of 3 hours.
