The Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Science (IGIMS), Patna, Bihar which was formed on November 19, 1983 as an autonomous organisation on the pattern of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi works to provide super specialty medical facilities in Bihar. ELIGIBILITY
  1. Age Limit: The maximum age of the applicants must be 35 years. Relaxations in age would be applicable as per the rules.
  2. Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess an MBBS first class degree from any standard medical institutions/Post Graduation/PG Diploma in concerned subjects. He/She must also be holding MCI Registration Certificate.
  3. Selection Procedure: An interview would be conducted to select candidates.
  4. How to apply: Candidates can apply through online and offline modes. For in-depth details about applying, refer to the official notification.
  5. Application Fee: For general category, the application fee is Rs 500 and that for SC/ST/others category is Rs 125.
  6. Important Dates: The interview would be conducted on September 16 and 17, 2014.
