Indian Air Force hiring, become an airman

If you are an unmarried male and Indian citizen, here's a chance to join the Indian Air force. In a recent official notification released by IAF, Haryana it has offered opportunity to male candidates from the designated districts to become airmen. The recruitment rally for Group 'X' (Technical) Trades and Group 'Y' (for automated technician, GTI and IAF) Trades will be done after a stringent selection process.

ELIGIBILITY
For Group 'X' (Technical) Trades:

• Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English, or
• Candidates should have passed Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology)from a government recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50 per cent marks in overall aggregate, and 50 per cent marks in English in Diploma Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course.

For Group 'Y' {Automobile Technician, GTI and IAF(P)} Trades:

• Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by central/state education boards with minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English, or
• Candidates should have passed Two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE/State Education Boards/Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by Association of Indian Universities AIU) with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate and 50 per cent marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.

Selection Procedure: The procedure followed for selection will be done in phases depending on the post. The process will include:

• Written Test
• Physical Fitness Test
• Interview
