IIT Indore invites application for IT and System Administrator

IIT Indore has released a recruitment notice for inviting candidates for the position of IT and Systems Administrator on a contractual basis. It is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, government of India. The opportunity will provide candidates a chance to work at a pioneer engineering college, which aims at innovations in education.

ELIGIBILITY

• Candidates must hold a degree in BE/B.Tech/MCA with five years of experience or M.tech with three years of experience.
• Candidates should also hold a minimum of two years experience in:

1. GNU/Linux system administration,
2. Setting up complex computing  infrastructure
3. Managing DNS, Mail services and list servers 

• Applicants should also have familiarity in handling video content, storage and delivery, as well as knowledge of high performance/throughput systems, clusters.
• Salary: Selected candidate will be paid a salary between Rs 45,000 to Rs 56,000 per month
