Ferozepur Cantonment Board is constituted under the provisions of the Cantonments Act, 1924, which was enacted by the central government. This board is under administrative control of the government of India through the Ministry of Defence. GOC-in-Chief, Western Command, Chandimandir, acts as the local government.

Pay Scale:
- For Post I - Selected candidates would be getting a monthly salary of Rs 10300 to Rs 34800 with grade pay of Rs 4800.
- For Post II - Selected candidates would be getting a monthly salary of Rs 10300 to Rs 34800 with grade pay of Rs 4200.
- For Post III & IV- Selected candidates would be getting a monthly salary of Rs 5910 to Rs 20200 with grade pay of Rs 1900.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: The applicants' minimum age limit must be 18 years and maximum must be 25 years. Relaxations in age would be provided as per the government rules.
- Educational Qualification: Those applying for the job should possess a three-year diploma in civil engineering or equivalent from a state technical education board or from a recognised university/institution/Class X/XII with electrician and mechanic certificate.
