SSC Eastern Region notifies recruitment for Group B and Group C posts

Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Eastern Region, has invited application from interested applicants for the recruitment at Group-B (Non-Gazetted) and Group- C ( Non-Technical) Selection Post

Vacancies: 11

1. Senior Technical Assistant : 1
2. Quarantine Inspector: 2
3. Senior Store Assistant: 1
4. Junior Geographical Assistant: 7

Pay Scale

1. Senior Technical Assistant , Quarantine Inspector, Senior Store Assistant:  Rs 9,300, Rs 34,800, Grade Pay Rs 4,200 
2. Junior Geographical Assistant: Rs 5,200 - 20,200, Grade pay Rs 2,000.

Educational Qualification

Senior Technical Assistant 

• Candidates should have a degree in Agriculture or have a post graduate degree in agronomy/plant breeding/genetics from the recognized university or equivalent. Experience in food  crops/ cash crops is desirable

Quarantine Inspector 

• Candidates should have completed bachelor's degree of Science in Zoology or Microbiology and have a two years of experience in veterinary laboratory of Central or State Government or Indian Council of Agricultural Research.

Senior Store Assistant 

• Candidates should have a recognised degree from a university with three experience of store keeping in drawing office or research organisation. Good knowledge of purchasing stores through tender director general of supplies and disposals is necessary

Junior Geographical Assistant: 

• Candidates should have a honour's degree in Geography/Mathematics/Statistics from a recognised university.

• A candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan Refugee
• The examination fee is Rs 50. The candidates should pay by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS).
