PWD, Maharashtra to recruit Engineers and Stenographers at 243 vacant posts

Public Works Department (PWD), Maharashtra has invited application for filling up 241 vacant Engineer post and 02 Stenographer posts. Eligible candidates can apply before August 21, 2014

Vacancies: 243
1.    Jr. Engineer: 196 Posts
2.    Civil Engineer Assistant: 45 Posts
3.    Stenographer: 02 Posts

Eligibility criteria:

1. Jr. Engineer: Candidates should possess Diploma in Civil Engineering, DOE ACC, MSCIT for S.No.01 Post,
2. Civil Engineer Assistant : SSC passed with one year Diploma in Architecture or Civil or Draftsman, MSCIT or DOEACC for S.No. 02 post,
3. Stenographer: SSC with MSCIT or DOEACC and shorthand of 120 WPM in Marathi, typing in Marathi 30 WPM and English 40 WPM.

Pay Scale:

1. Jr. Engineer: Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade pay Rs. 4300/-
2. Civil Engineer Assistant: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade pay Rs. 2400/-
3. Stenographer:  Rs. 9300-34800/- + Grade pay Rs. 4300/-

Selection Procedure : 

• Candidates are selected based on written test and Interview.

Examination Fee :

• Candidates have to pay Rs. 300/- (Bank Charge Rs. 60/-) for General Category and Rs.200/- (Bank Charge Rs. 60/-) for Reserved Categories, fees are not applicable for ex serviceman.Payment should be done through Challen of State Bank of India.or candidates can pay in Account No. 7776900546 /47/ 48/ 49.
