Public Works Department, Amravati announces recruitment notification for various posts

The Public Works Department in Amravati has announced recruitment for various posts of Civil Engineer Assistant, Clerk-cum-Typist and Driver.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS: 

• Total Posts: 71

Name of the Posts:

1. Civil Engineer Assistant: 37 posts
2. Junior Clerk-cum-Typist: 25 posts
3. Driver: 9 posts

Pay Scale:

• For Post I: Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 with grade pay of Rs 2400.
• For Post II & III: Rs 5200 to Rs 20200 with grade pay of Rs 1900.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

The minimum age of the applicant must be 18 years and the maximum age must be 33 years. Relaxations in age would be provided as per the government rules.

Educational  Qualification:

For Post I -  Candidates should hold a Degree/Diploma in Engineering in related discipline or equivalent qualification from a recognised board/university.
For Post II - Candidates should have passed Class X or hold equivalent qualification from a recognised board with typing speed of 40 wpm in English, 30 wpm in Marathi.
For Post III - Candidates should have passed Class IV with valid driving licence (Heavy) or hold an equivalent qualification from a recognised board/university.

Selection Procedure: A written test, a typing test and an interview would be conducted to short-list the candidates.
