Northeast Frontier Railways recruitment for 55 sportsperson posts

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has invited applications for recruitment of 55 sportspersons across divisions such as Headquarters, Katihar, Alipurduar, Rangiya, Lumding and Tinsukia. Candidates will be selected on the basis of a sports trial and personal interview. Last date for application is September 15, 2014.

Salary

• Selected candidates would receive Rs 5,200 - Rs 20,200 per month with grade pay Rs 2,000.

Eligibility

• The age of the candidate should be between 18 years and 25 years. The candidate should have completed graduation or Matric or Class 10 or its equivalent from a recognised university/ institute.

Selection

• Eligible candidates will be selected for the posts on the basis of performance in a sports trial performance and personal interview. Applicants will be judged on the following criterion:

1. Game skill and physical fitness as per coach's observations during trial: 40 marks
2. Previous record of recognized Sports Achievements as per norms: 50 marks
3. Educational qualifications: 5 marks
4. General Intelligence and Personality etc. : 5 marks
