Applications are available for the IBPS Clerical Cadre recruitment 2014 for candidates interested in applying for any of the 19 participating banks. IBPS Clerical Cadre 2014 recruitment will include a Common Written Exam (CWE IV) and an interview. The CWE IV has total marks of 200 and the total marks for the interview is 100. The CWE IV will have 80 per cent weightage for final consideration while the interview will have weightage of 100 marks.
Exam Pattern
  • The Common Written Examination will be conducted through online mode and is to be completed in 2 hours. The exam consists of 5 sections for a total of 200 marks. The different sections are:
  1. Reasoning (40 marks)
  2. English Language (40 marks)
  3. Numerical Ability (40 marks)
  4. General Awareness with special reference to the Banking industry (40 marks)
  5. Computer Knowledge (40 marks)

  • All sections, with the exception of English Language, will be available in both English and Hindi. Negative marking is applicable with one-fourth of the total value of the question deducted for each incorrect answer. Detailed information on the exam syllabus and question paper will be available after the release of IBPS Clerk 2014 call letters i.e. from November 17, 2014.
  • Minimum cut off score of the CWE Clerks IV will be decided after the examination, depending on the vacancies available.

Participating banks: Allahabad Bank, Corporation Bank, Syndicate Bank, Andhra Bank, Dena Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, Indian Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, United Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Vijaya Bank, Canara Bank, Punjab National Bank, Central Bank of India and Punjab and Sind Bank.
