CSIR (NISCAIR) announces job vacancy for technician post

CSIR - National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), New Delhi has invited applications for recruitment at the post of a technician. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by August 20, 5:30 pm.

Eligibility criteria:

Educational qualification:

• The candidates applying for this post should have passed class 10th with Science stream, having acquired at least 55 percent marks.
• Also, the candidates should have obtained an ITI certificate or national/ state trade certificate in information & communication tech./ computer fundamental/ MS office & internet trade/ printing trade/ DTP or graphic work of pre- press/ commercial Art or DTP/ refrigeration & air conditioning trade/ production or publishing trade. Or
• The candidates should have obtained two years of experience in the relevant trade.

Age limit:

• The candidates should not age more than 28 years as on August 26, 2014.

Selection process:

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the written test/ trade test/ practical test/ skill test/ personal interview.

Pay Scale: 

• Rs 5, 200 to Rs 20, 200 plus grade pay of Rs 1, 900 per month and other additional allowances as admissible by CSIR

• In order to apply, the candidates are required to log in to the official website and fill the application forms. On duly submitting the applications, the candidates should take a print out of the same and send to "Controller of Administration, National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources (NISCAIR), Pusa Campus, Dr. K S Krishnan Marg, New Delhi - 110012" along with the generated application ID. The candidates are required to send the attested copies of the testimonials and documents along.

Application fee:

• The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500 in the form of demand draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of "Director, NISCAIR", payable at New Delhi.
