Eligibility criteria:
Age limit:

1. Assistant Directors (Regulation & Information): The candidates applying for this post should not be aged more than 40 years as on July 31, 2014.
2. Principals Grade-II: The candidates applying for this post should not be aged more than 30 years as on July 31, 2014.
3. Joint Drugs Controller (India): The candidates applying for this post should not be aged more than 50 years as on July 31, 2014.
4. Assistant Cost Account Officers: The candidates applying for this post should not be aged more than 35 years as on July 31, 2014.
5. Professor in Civil Engineering (Technical): The candidates applying for this post should not be aged more than 53 years as on July 31, 2014.
6. Specialists, Gr. II,( Jr. Scale): The candidates applying for this post should not be be aged more than 45 years as on July 31, 2014.

Educational qualifications:

1. Assistant Directors (Regulation & Information): The candidates applying for this post should have acquired a degree in Law.
2. Principals Grade-II: The candidates applying for this post should have acquired a Masters degree and a degree/ diploma in teaching/ education.
3. Joint Drugs Controller (India): The candidates applying for this post should have a post graduate degree in pharmacy/ pharmaceutical chemistry/ biochemistry/ chemistry/ microbiology/ pharmacology.
4. Assistant Cost Account Officers: The candidates applying for this post should have done B.Com.
5. Professor in Civil Engineering (Technical): The candidates applying for this post should possess a BE/ B.Tech degree (civil/ environmental) and ME/ M.Tech degree in water resource engineering/ engineering hydrology/ fluid mechanics/ flood control/ hydraulic engineering/ environmental engineering/ public health engineering. The candidates should specialize in any area related to water resource engineering/ engineering hydrology/ fluid mechanics/ flood control/ hydraulic engineering/ environmental engineering/ public health engineering.
6. Specialists, Gr. II ( Jr. Scale) in Anaesthesiology: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess medical qualification. Also, the candidates should have acquired a post graduate degree/ diploma in the concerned speciality.
7. Specialists, Gr. II (Jr. Scale) in Medicine: The candidates applying for this post are required to possess medical qualification. Also, the candidates should have acquired a post graduate degree/ diploma in the concerned speciality.

Selection process:

• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the interview.

How to apply:

• In order to apply, the candidates are required to log in to the official website of UPSC. After submitting the duly filled application forms, online, the candidates are required to take a print out of the ORA (online recruitment application) for further usage.

Application fee:

• The candidates are required to submit an amount of Rs 25, as application fee, either by remitting the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/ master credit/ debit card.
