Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has invited applications for recruitment for various posts through 'Combined All India Open' exam, commonly known as SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) exam. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by August 19.

Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
- The candidates should have passed Class 12 by August 1, 2014 in order to be eligible.
Age limit:
- The candidates applying for this post should age between 18 and 27 years as on August 1, 2014.
Application fee:
- The candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100. The female candidates and the physically handicapped and ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of fees. Also, the candidates belonging to SC/ ST category need not pay the fees.
How to apply:
- The candidates can submit the applications online or on paper. Those submitting the applications online are required to submit the fee through State Bank of India (SBI) in the form of challan or through SBI net banking.
Selection process:
- The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performances in the written test to be followed by a skill test/ typing test.
- Exam Date: The exam is scheduled to take place on November 2 and November 9.
