RBI Assistant Exam 2014 to be conducted in September

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications for recruitment at the post of 'Assistant' through a written exam. The interested and eligible candidates can apply latest by August 6.

Eligibility criteria:

Age limit:

• The candidates who wish to apply for this exam are required to be between 18 and 28 years.

Educational qualification:

• The candidates who possess a bachelors degree in any discipline having acquired at least 50 per cent marks are eligible to apply. The candidates should be conversant with MS Word.

Selection process:

• The candidates applying for this post will be selected on the basis of an online exam and an interview.

Exam pattern:

• The online exam will carry 200 marks in total. The pattern is listed below:

Pay Scale:

• The selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 8,860/- per month (i.e. Rs 8,040/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs 8,040- 410 - 9270 - 500 - 11,270 - 550 - 13,470 - 650 - 15,420 - 720 - 16,140 - 990 - 20,100.
