Eligibility criteria:

Age limit:

1. Senior assistant: The candidates applying for this post should not be more than 30 years.
2. Professional assistant (Library): The candidates applying for this post should not be more than 35 years.
3. Semi-professional assistant (Library): The candidates applying for this post should not be more than 35 years.
4. Laboratory attendant computer (MTS): The candidates applying for this post should not be more than 27 years.
5. Library attendant (MTS): The candidates applying for this post should not be more than 27 years.

Educational qualification:

1. Senior assistant: The candidates applying for this post should be graduates or postgraduates having obtained at least 50 per cent marks. The candidates should possess working knowledge of computers and should have acquired a diploma/certificate of at least six month duration in computer application/ office management/ secretarial practice/ financial management/ accounts.
2. Professional assistant (Library): The candidates applying for this post should possess an M.Lib.Sc/ M.LI.Sc. degree from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks.
3. Semi professional assistant (Library): The candidates applying for this post should be graduates with at least 50 per cent marks. The candidates should have acquired an M.Lib.Sc/ M.LI.Sc. degree from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks. Also, the candidates should have completed a six-month course in computer application.
4. Laboratory attendant computer (MTS): The candidates applying for this post should have passed matriculation with Science stream.
5. Library attendant (MTS): The candidates applying for this post should have passed class 10th. Also, the candidates should possess a certificate in library science/ library and information science.
