CSIR is recruiting 19 Section Officers

The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi has invited job applications for recruitment to 19 vacant posts. Interested and eligible candidates should apply on or before August 1, 2014.

Vacancy details:

• Total number of vacancies: 19 posts
• Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4800 + admissible allowances

1. Section Officers (General): 7 posts
2. Section Officers (Finance and Accounts): 5 posts
3. Section Officers (Stores and Purchase): 7 posts

Eligibility criteria:  

• The candidates should be working in an institution/organisation or autonomous body of central government, possess a university degree and hold an analogous/comparable grade or rendered eight-year service in the Grade of Assistant Gr. I in the PB-2 of Rs 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs 4200 or Rs 4600, on regular basis. The age of the candidate should not be more than 40 years of age.

Appointment procedure:

• The candidates will be appointed for recruitment to the advertised post on the basis of their performance in the interview.
• In case the organisation receives a large number of applications, the applications may be screened and/or a written test may be conducted prior to conducting the interview.
