Cochin Shipyard Limited to recruit 10 safety assistants

The Cochin Shipyard Limited has invited job applications to the post of safety assistant on contract basis. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the same before July 25, 2014.

Vacancy details:

• Name of post: Safety Assistant
• Pay scale: Rs 14,500 per month and compensation for extra hours of work on week days and on holidays limited to Rs 4,500 per month

Total number of vacancies: 10 posts

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidates should have passed SSLC and must possess  one-year Diploma or Certificate in Industrial Safety from a government-recognised Institute or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU). The age of the candidate should not be more than 35 years as on July 1, 2014.

Selection procedure: 

•  The candidates will be selected for recruitment to the advertised post on the basis of their performance in the written test and personal interview.
