Sikkim Public Service Commission is recruiting for 352 posts for teachers

The Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) has invited job applications for recruitment to the post of Teachers in various disciplines under Human Resource Development Department, Government of Sikkim. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the post before July 30, 2014.

Vacancy details:

• Graduate teachers Humanities: 127 posts
• Graduate teachers Biology: 99 posts
• Graduate teachers Mathematics: 126 posts

Total number of post: 352 posts

• Pay Scale: PB-2 of Rs 9300-34800 + GP of Rs 4600

Eligibility criteria:

• The candidates must hold a degree from a recognised university with Hons for major language group i.e. Nepali and Hindi. The candidate should also possess the Sikkim State Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) certificate.
• The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years as on May 1, 2014.

Application fee:

• The candidate is supposed to pay an application fee of Rs 150. The fee has to be credited to '0051-SPSC' at State Bank of Sikkim.

• The duly completed application forms have to be submitted in the office of Joint Director of HRDD in their respective district along with original Bank Receipt of State Bank of Sikkim.
