SAIL recruiting for 473 vacant posts 2014

IISCO steel plant, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), has invited job applications for non-executive posts for its integrated steel plant in Burnpur in West Bengal. Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply for the post before July 5, 2014.

• Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): 9 posts
• Attendant-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): 5 posts
• Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): 290 posts
• Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): 169 posts

Total Number of Post: 473 posts
Eligibility criteria:

• Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): The candidate should have passed matriculation exam and possess 3-year full time diploma in engineering from a government recognised institute with second-class or first-class certificate of boiler competency.
• Attendant-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation): The candidate should have passed matriculation and ITI from G a government recognised institute with second-class of boiler competency.
• Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee): The candidate should have passed matriculation and possess a 3-year full time diploma in engineering in automobile/ceramics/chemical/civil/electrical/ electronics or electronics & communication/instrumentation/mechanical/metallurgy/production discipline from a government recognised institute.
• Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee): The candidate should have passed matriculation and hold ITI (full-time) in air-conditioning & refrigeration/draughtsman (civil)/draughtsman (mechanical)/electrician/electronics/mechanic/fitter/machinist/mechanic motor vehicle/mechanic diesel/turner/welder trades from a government recognised institute.

Selection procedure:

• The candidates will be selected for recruitment to the advertised post on the basis of their performance in the written examination and interview.
